See Yourself with Perfect Luscious Lashes Everyday with this Mascara Routine

As any lash fanatic knows the all-important flick of mascara frames your face, and pulls together your entire look in a few strokes. Take the stress out of the equation with this simple routine designed to get you perfect, long, luscious, clump-free lashes everyday.
Step 1 - Condition your Lashes: Properly prepare your eyelashes overnight by applying a specially formulated eyelash conditioner on clean lashes before heading to bed. Not only will this help keep your lashes in top shape, but it will also allow your mascara to go on smoother the next day. For an amazing lash conditioning and lengthening, we recommend B True Beauty's All Natural Eyelash Enhancer

Step 2 - Choose your Mascara: Eyelashes range broadly in terms of length, shape, and thickness. Thankfully, there is a mascara for basically every type of look you desire.
Length: Try a lengthening mascara with a wand that has thick bristles. For an amazing, all natural mascara we recommend ILIA Mascara
Volume: Look for the words “volumizing” or “thickening”, and use a wand with lots of bristles. For an amazing, all natural mascara we recommend RMS Beauty Volumizing Mascara

Natural: Use a thinner brush with less bristles. For an amazing, all natural mascara we recommend Alima Pure Natural Definition Mascara

Lasting: Waterproof mascara is great for ensuring your product doesn’t run or spot, but it can also damage lashes over time, so you shouldn’t use it everyday. For an amazing, all natural mascara we recommend Jane Iredale Longest Lash Thickening & Lengthening Mascara

Everything in One:   For an amazing,  all natural, everyting-in-one mascara (and my personal favorite ever) we recommend Tart's Lights camera Action
Step 3 - Curl your Lashes: Using an eyelash curler, lightly squeeze at the base of your lashes for 10 seconds, then repeat at the midsection and tips for an additional 5 seconds each.
   - If you’re looking for extra hold, you can first heat up your eyelash curler with a blow dryer prior to using or use a heated eyelash curler.
   - Always curl your lashes before putting on mascara. Curling after applying can result in breakage.
Step 4 - Prime your Lashes: Primer will help your mascara stay longer, and also conditions dry lashes, keeping them healthy and happy.
   - Wait at least 15-30 seconds before applying mascara after using primer to ensure that the color is not diluted. We recommend Tart's Opening Act Lash Primer
Step 5 - Coat Wand and Remove Excess Product: Pumping the mascara wand in and out of the tube is a sure-fire way to dry out your mascara very quickly. Instead, swirl the brush around in circles inside of the tube to get the most mascara possible on the wand without drying out the formula.
   - If you are having issues with clumpy mascara, try adding a drop of pure lavender essential oil.
Step 6 - Apply Base Coat: When applying your mascara, start at the base of the lashes and wiggle the brush from left to right, rather than up and down. Continue to move the wand in a zig-zag movement straight up to the top of your lashes. This helps to coat every last inch of your lashes for maximum impact.
Step 7 - Apply Additional Coats as Needed: Add additional coats of mascara until you reach the desired volume, waiting 5-10 seconds between each coat in order to allow the mascara to dry.
Step 8 - Remove Mascara Before Bed: Using a nourishing eye makeup remover to remove all mascara and any other eye makeup at the end of the day. Sleeping with makeup and mascara on is very drying and damaging to your eyelashes and delicate eye area. We recommend removing your eye make up with B True Beauty's Take It All Off! Nourishing Eye Makeup Remover
Step 9 - Replace Mascara Every 3 Months: Mascara has about a three month shelf life before it dries out and is no longer usable. Even if it still seems functional, the nature of mascara makes it an ideal environment for bacteria
